Jay Jaffe swings by for his typical Wednesday night chat to talk to the Guns about...you guessed it...Sammy Sosa and his Hall of Fame credentials in the wake of the alleged positive steroid test in 2003. Jay compares Sosa's case for the Hall with that of Mark McGwire and laments having to make this such a prominent topic of conversation as it is.
On the Red Sox front, Jay talks about the possible 6 man rotation, what the next move might be for the Sox pitching staff, whether David Ortiz is really coming out of his slump and whether Jacoby Ellsbury is where the hometown team needs him to be for him to be an effective lead-off hitter.

Jeff Erickson, Rotiwire Fantasy Baseball Expert
Jeff Erickson from RotoWire has some good insight for his weekly chat and...believe it or not, no questions about David Ortiz! There are however, some queries on Tom Glavine, should you roster him if, well...a major league team decides to? Roy Halladay, how many more years of this dominance will he have left? Juan Pierre, does he have any post-Manny suspension value? Kevin Youkilis, where does he rank among first basemen?

Jarvis Green, Patriots DE

Jarvis Green joins the Guns on a Friday night to talk some Patriots football as OTAs come to a close. Jarvis shares some thoughts on seeing Tom Brady back out on the field. He also talks about the retirement of Rodney Harrison, and whether the Pats should keep the three defensive linemen whose contracts are coming up (Richard Seymore, Vince Wilfork, and himself) after this year. Jarvis has a good sense of humor, and had a response to the comments by the Dolphins Joey Porter that the AFC East title goes through Miami.
Jarvis and his foundation are putting on a great concert event this Saturday in Seekonk. The Summer Breeze Concert features the U2 cover band the Joshua Tree and the Nate Mott Band. General admission tickets are only $25 and a portion of the proceeds goes to help out the Jarvis Green Foundation aiding low income single mothers. For more information on how to get tickets and support this very worthy cause, visit Jarvis's Web site and follow the links to the Jarvis Green Foundation.
Jay Jaffe, Baseball Prospectus
Jay Jaffe from Baseball Prospectus has some insight to share in this, his weekly chat with the Guns. He discusses the newest sensation, 16 year old Bryce Harper who hit the cover of Sports Illustrated last week and how the guys who project future performance for a living handle projecting someone like this.
He also lists the Red Sox starters he fully trusts right now (the list is not lengthy) and whether there might be a middle of the order bat option on the trade market for the Sox.
Jay also disappoints Chris immensely in his choice of music and in not caring for one of Chris's favorite artists.
